No, not at this time. However, Awaken is a healthcare facility and may be required to mandate masks to remain in compliance with local and/or state requirements.
We believe it is our responsibility to do everything in our power to protect the health of our clients and staff. For this reason we have implemented a rigorous cleaning protocol. The treatment room is thoroughly cleaned and sanitized after every client. All sheets are removed from the area and exposed areas of the massage table are wiped down with a disinfecting solution. Periodically, the room is sanitized via UV light. This kills the germs on all surfaces as well as any airborne germs and viruses. During massage sessions we use a Hepa Air Filter with built in UV light to help purify the air.
We have a 24 hour cancellation policy. If you need to cancel or reschedule your massage please call or text us as soon as possible. Cancelling a massage with less than 24 hours notice, or, neglecting to show up for your scheduled session may result in your being charged the full rate for the session that you missed. If you were using a Gift Certificate to pay for your massage, your Gift Certificate may be forfeited in its' entirety.
We kindly request that if you are sick you contact us as soon as possible to reschedule your massage. You will not be charged a cancellation fee if you are cancelling due to illness.
Reasons to cancel (not a complete list):
-any cold symptoms at all
-fever in last 24 hours
-vomit in last 24 hours
-diarrhea in last 24 hours
We do not have a receptionist and return all calls ourselves. If we are booked during our shift then the machine will take your message (PLEASE leave one) and we will call you back as soon as possible.
We do not offer couple's massages but are happy to schedule you and a significant other with back-to-back appointments.
No. The high heat inside the sauna is contra-indicated during pregnancies.
No. All "add-on" treatments are designed and priced to be part of an existing massage session and may not be separated from the massage.
Once you arrive, enter the black door at the front of the building. You will see a set of green stairs on the left. We are located in Suite F upstairs.
Our building has a dedicated parking lot and it should not be difficult to find parking.
Yes. The restrooms are located downstairs and towards the back of the building. If you would like to use the facilities before heading upstairs to your appointment you will enter the black front door, walk past the green stairs, and follow the hallway as it turns and dead ends into the restrooms.
